Program

The Program tab provides an overview of student plans and programs. You access the Program tab through the Student Profile.

The tab contains the following sections:

 

A) The Eligibility and Eligibility Category fields display the student's eligibility for either IDEA or 504. These fields cannot be edited. (See Data Requirements for 504/IDEA Eligibility for background on the data required for the system to display eligibility status.)

 

B) The Plan box displays the student's plans and their dates. This cannot be edited.

 

C) The FAPE offer area displays FAPE offers and Reevaluations. You can add offer dates and results by click Add.  (See instructions.)

 

D) This section presents read-only information - Program Information, Special Education and Supports. However, you can edit the information by clicking Update Program.  (See instructions.)

 

 

 

 

 

To edit Program information:

 

  1. Click Update Program. The 504 Plan/IEP Program window is displayed.

  2. Edit any of the four areas:
     

    1. Program Information - Select IDEA Place of Attendance. Some selections may require you to enter additional information (e.g., the name of a DOE/Charter School).  
       

    2. Special Education and Supports - Select Location of Student and Level of Support.
       

Reevaluations: Use the same steps to document whether a parent was offered or declined a reevaluation.
 
Checkboxes - The following checkbox is available:

      1. Indicate whether the student is in a Private School Participation Project.

     

  2. Click Save then Close. You are returned to the Program tab.
