Dirk - A dagger with a long straight blade, especially one that was formerly used by Scottish Highlanders.

Butterfly Knife - A form of folding pocket knife with two handles that counter-rotates around the tang such that, when closed, the blade is concealed within grooves in the handles. In the hands of a trained user, the knife blade can be brought forth quickly using one hand.

Switchblade Knife - A form of a pocket knife with a blade that springs out of the handle automatically when a button is pressed.

Blackjack - a small, easily-concealed weapon consisting of a leather-wrapped lead weight attached to the end of a leather-wrapped coil-spring or rigid shaft, with a lanyard or strap on the end opposite the weight. Materials other than lead and leather are sometimes used to construct these weapons. It ranges from six to fourteen inches long.
