Use this tab to indicate whether the student will participate in the Hawaii Statewide Assessment. Entries in this screen are for section 22 of the IEP form.
To document Statewide Assessment on an IEP, do the following:
After the IEP is initiated, select the Statewide Assessment tab.
Select a Statewide Assessment option. Options include:
Not applicable for the present school year – Nothing further needs to be done. Continue with other parts of the IEP.
Will participate in state-wide assessments – Nothing further needs to be done. Continue with other parts of the IEP.
Will participate in state-wide assessments with accommodations – Check any accommodations that will be provided for the student in the Accommodations / Modifications Required box. You are required to select at least one.
Will participate in Hawaii State Alternate Assessment – Type in the reason in the text area provided.
Proceed as appropriate to other areas of the IEP:
