Student Summary

The Student Summary is a report summarizing information about an individual student. Much of the information is confidential, and users can only see those portions of the report that are allowed by their functional rights. In other words, if the information is visible to a user within eCSSS, then the information will be available on the Student Summary report.

Information is selected from the following options. Click the box beside Categories to select all available summary options, or select only those options that are to be included in the report. Once you have selected the options you want to show, click OK to display the report.

The report header contains demographic information that can be seen by anyone who is able to view the Student Profile.

The remaining sections of the report depend on what the user has the rights to see. In some cases, a user may be able to see certain information within a section of a report, but they will not be able to see other information within the same section. For example, a user who can see a student's IEP may see part of the IEP information for the student, but they will not see the Prior Written Notice Plan information.

The following table illustrates what information appears on the report. If you can see the relevant student profile information on screen, then you will be able to see it on the report. Two items separated by a comma indicates that you may be able to see some information, but additional security may be needed to see all of the information.
