The Current Performance screen is used to document the student's strengths, challenges and needs that will become the basis for the student's plan. (Learn more.)
NOTE: Current Performance documents that belong to Referrals created before 12/1/2012 contain fields/functions that no longer apply and are not described in the instructions below.
To develop the statements, do the following.
Highlight DEFINE NEEDS. The Actions menu selections will change. Select New Current Performance from the menu.
The Current Performance window will open.
On the Current Performance tab, enter the Statement Date.
Review available information, which are read-only and cannot be edited:
Student Assessments - Click Display Student Assessments.
Incidents - Disciplinary incidents logged in Safe School Information System (SSIS).
Go to the Interventions Tried tab to select interventions for the Current Performance. The tab is blank until you select interventions that are relevant to the current referral.
Click Add.
The Interventions Tried window opens. NOTE: Interventions come from the Concerns or Supports tabs. Interventions can only be created on the Concerns tab. If the student has no documented Interventions, you will not be able to add any to the Current Performance.
NOTE: The From Date and To Date fields are filters you can use to narrow the records that appear in the list below. You can disregard this filter if the window contains only a few entries.
Check all interventions that apply.
Click OK.
You are returned to the Interventions Tried tab.
