What is Evaluation Status?
The Evaluation Status screen is where you record 504 or IDEA evaluation decisions, delays and withdrawals.
The screen can be accessed under DEFINE NEEDS only if the referral (1) is marked with Suspicion of 504/IDEA Disability and (2) contains a Filed Date.
The key areas of the Evaluation Status screen are:
Evaluation Worksheet – This is where you record key decisions that relate to the evaluation. When related documents (e.g., Prior Written Notice) are created later in the process, the documents are automatically populated with decisions from the Worksheet. In addition, your decisions determine the screens and Action items that apply for future tasks.
Evaluation Delay – Date and reason for a delay.
Evaluation Withdrawn – Date and reason for a withdrawal. If an evaluation is withdrawn, the Withdrawn Date is displayed on the Evaluation Status record.
60-Day Timeline – Available for 504 and IDEA referrals when evaluations are conducted. See 60-Day Timeline.
