Once an incident is logged from the School Profile screen, follow-up information about individual student suspects are recorded in a separate Suspect form located on the Incidents tab of the Student Profile. This form is used to document a more in-depth work-up on the suspect, including tracking disciplinary actions.
This form can be accessed two ways:
School Profile >
Incidents tab - Locate and expand the appropriate incident.
Highlight the suspect, then Open
Suspect Form from the Actions
menu.

tab. Please note:
Incident Information - Please note the following:
Primary Disciplinary Action – When relevant, the CAS Authorization Status is displayed in parentheses (e.g., Affirmed, Overturned, etc.).
# of Days – This count is related to the Primary Disciplinary Action. Counts in parentheses are pending or have been overturned.
# Crisis Days – This count is related to Crisis Removal Days. Counts in parentheses are pending or have been overturned. NOTE: When relevant, the CAS Authorization Status for Crisis Removal Days is displayed in the Incident Summary box.
Actions - Users can open either of the following:
Incident Form - Incidents can involve several students and are considered School records. Click this link to see the Incident record the student is tied to. Learn more.
Suspect Form - This tab contains a range of information about an individual student named as a suspect, including incident, offenses, police and other relevant information. The first tab in the Suspect form is the Suspect Incident Tab.
Current Cumulative Discipline Out-of-School Days - This box provides the overall view of a student’s disciplinary out-of-school days for the current school year and semester. Calculations in this table are made according to Ch. 19 rules. Please note:
School Year vs. Semester – The first row shows cumulative counts for the current school year, while the second row shows the current semester counts.
Carry Over (+/-) – Displays how many Carry Over days were subtracted or added to the current school year or current semester.
