NOTE: This page is a reference for Incidents screens available before the 1.12.0 release. (Background on screen versions.)
This document is related to instructions for the Suspect Discipline tab.
In the Suspect Discipline tab, users select a Disciplinary Action from the drop-down menu. The Interim Alt. Ed. Setting is visible only for students who are IDEA- or 504-eligible when they are named as a suspect with a verified Chapter 19 offense, regardless of the date of the incident and date of Eligibility Determination.
Once Interim Alt. Ed. Setting is selected as a Disciplinary Action, you must complete an additional screen that allows schools to track students who are placed in Interim Alternative Educational Setting (IAES). The data collected in this screen helps the DOE meet federal reporting requirements.
Select the Discipline tab when adding a student as a Suspect.
For Add Disciplinary Action drop-down box, select Interim Alt. Ed. Setting. (NOTE: Option available only if student is eligible).
Click on the Add button to display the pop-up window.
