A Reevaluation IEP cannot be created in the same referral where other IEPs have already been activated. The new referral must go through the initial steps in the Student Support Process before you can begin drafting the Reevaluation IEP.
Select the Referral tab and create a New Referral.
Follow all tasks in the Student Support Process that are required to begin an IEP.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Evaluation Worksheet in the Evaluation Status must be set to Reevaluation.
When you are ready to create the reevaluation IEP, highlight PLAN, then select either:
New IEP Reevaluation/Revision – If you are creating the IEP shortly after the last Annual IEP, and there are few, if any, changes to the IEP, create a Reevaluation/Revision IEP. The SDRT information is carried over from the Annual IEP. The IEP Annual Due Date and is not reset, and the progress report period continues in the sequence where the previous active IEP left off.
Help eCSSS must assist in creating the correct progress reporting period.
OR
New IEP Reevaluation/Annual – If the IEP is to be reviewed comprehensively as a result of the reevaluation, or the IEP Annual Due Date is approaching, then create a Reevaluation/Annual IEP. This type of IEP does not carry over the SDRT information from the previous IEP. The IEP Annual Due Date and progress report periods are reset.
Complete the IEP. NOTE: On the Actions tab of the IEP, you will notice that eCSSS automatically assigns the IEP Type.
Save the IEP.
To print, click Print Form. This button is displayed only after you click Save.
