Program areas define the identification of Gifted and Talented (GT) and Potentially Gifted and Talented (PGT) students as well as the school courses and programs to support them. School-level program areas are first defined in the Gifted and Talented tab of the School Profile then GT/PGT students are either:
Individually identified in the Programs section of the Supports tab on the Student Profile.
Identified when the school assigns Mass Supports.
Students can be identified for giftedness only in the program-areas defined by the school in which they are currently enrolled.
