Respond to a Request for Input

The following instructions is part of a larger process for logging and addressing student concerns, as defined by the Continuum of Proactive Student Supports (CPSS) for Early Intervention and Prevention. For background, please see Using the Concerns Tab.

 

If you received an e-mail requesting a Concern Input, follow these instructions:

 

  1. Search for the student who requires a Concern Input.
  2. Select the Concerns tab.
  3. Expand the row Request for Input.
  4. Highlight the row containing your name.
  5. The Actions menu selections will change. Select Open Concern Input.
  6. The Concern Input and Request window is displayed.
  7. Enter the Input Date in MMDDYY format. (Tips for entering dates.)
  8. If you need to review the request that was sent to you, select the Concern Input Request tab.
  9. Click Add Concern. The Add Concern Input modal window is displayed.
  10. Use the drop-down menu to select a Concern..
  11. Describe the concern in Description of Behavior with Evidence.
  12. Click OK & Next if you want to add more concerns. Otherwise, click OK.  
  13. You will be taken back to the Concern Input and Request window. Notice that your concerns are now listed.
  14. Click Save then Close. Your concerns are now on the Concerns tab.
