In some situations, a student may require supports that are not associated with a formal support plan (i.e., 504 Plan or IEP). These supports are referred to as a "single support" and do not require the logging of a referral.
NOTE: To document information relating to Program enrollment, see instructions for either PSAP or PSSAS
To log a single support:
Select the Supports tab.
Select New Single Support from the Action menu.
The Support Provider automatically displays your name (the person who logged into eCSSS) and Job Position. To choose someone else, click Import to select the name the provider.
Select Support Level 1 or 2, then select a Support. For more information, see the eCSSS Array of Supports chart.
Enter the Support Date in MMDDYY format. (Tips for entering dates.)
Enter the Duration of the service in five-minute increments.
Enter Comments, if applicable.
Select a Support Descriptor (i.e., - Counseling, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology or Nursing).
Options in the Descriptor box will change according to your selection. Check all descriptors that apply.
Click Save then Close.
